Intervention

Social emotional connection – between caregivers and young children, children with other children, caregivers and other caregivers, and caregivers and our own intervention coaches – forms the basis of our interventions.

From this foundation, we empower caregivers and communities with knowledge about child neurodevelopment and self-regulation as the foundation for all executive functions that promote school readiness, occupational success, health, well-being, resilience, problem solving, empathy, and goal attainment across the lifespan. We further empower caregivers with the skills they need to regulate themselves, connect with others, and engage in social play and co-regulation with their child. This intimate coaching is usually only available to parents in wealthy communities. Through our coaching-of-coaches training model, we provide it to all communities while ensuring sustainable dissemination of the caregiver empowerment model.
